Business English is a part-time afternoon programme designed to help students help you communicate accurately and fluently in a business context. Reading and listening texts use business contexts so that new business vocabulary is introduced naturally. Speaking and writing tasks also focus on communication in a business context.

IELTS is an academic English course designed to help you improve your English skills and strategies. This very popular qualification is accepted by most universities, polytechnics and immigration departments as a proof of English language competence. It is an excellent course if you want to enter into university or a vocational programme and it helps you improve all areas of your academic English. After completing an IELTS course at Dominion, you have the option of taking the internationally recognised IELTS exam at a local exam centre.

TOEIC is a business English course designed to help you improve all areas of your Business English. Especially popular in Asian countries, TOEIC is the benchmark of English language competence for many employers in Japan and Korea. The language systems and skills studied on the course will help you cope in a business environment. Dominion English Schools, Auckland is a private TOEIC testing centre, meaning that students who study TOEIC at Dominion can take the exam at the school any day by agreement.

The Dominion TESOL course is designed for non-native speakers of English who would like to learn how to teach English to young adults and adult learners. The course provides you with all the vital training and techniques to become a successful language teacher. It also prepares you to take the Cambridge TKT (Teaching Knowledge Test).
